About Me…
Welcome to gibsgivestips.com!
Hello! My name is Gillian Blakes or as my friends like to call me, Gibs! I am the author and creator of children’s picture books as seen on Amazon, giving wisdom and tips through writing and content creation.
I love to write and paint. I am also a master in psychology graduate. I specialized in researching the cognitive benefits of music learning in children and adults, a near and dear topic as I am a musician myself, and always advocate for learning an instrument- it is never too late.
I enjoy spending time with my nephews, and this is where my inspiration comes for my picture books.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing and illustrating them.
